Circle Bar B Riding Stables is the oldest and finest public riding stable on Santa Barbara County’s South Coast. For over 65 years, guests have been enjoying this coastal mountain paradise situated on over 1,000 acres.

The Ranch is located 20 miles north of Santa Barbara in Refugio Canyon on the scenic Gaviota coast. From the ranch headquarters, the trails lead through Indian canyons up a fern-lined trail, past waterfalls to Sweetwater. From here, the trail climbs out of the canyon up on top of the ridgeline where riders enjoy spectacular views of the Santa Ynez coastal mountain range, the Pacific Ocean and Santa Barbara Channel Islands.

We offer a variety of rides including our 1-1/2 hour ride, half-day lunch ride, full day rides private rides and other customized rides. We are open 7 days a week, year round. Our guides and horses can accommodate all levels of experience.
